Reminder List

I've been a bit scatterbrained and definitely not myself lately so I will be making this list for myself to help me remember everything that I need to get done because if I don't, I won't do it. Also I still have 2 reviews to do and I know they're taking forever but I ran out of time that one day and I've been extremely busy with work so ya know I haven't had the chance to do it.

To-Do:

- Photographing new products for Radioactive Accessories
- Uploading 3 New Products
- Working on my Novel's first chapter
- Finish 2 reviews

Re-designing Second Store!

I've been in the mood for a change and with my second store I actually had a dream. In the dream I called the store Lillypad Bake Shop, but since I haven't started selling any kind of items that go along with that name I decided on The Lillypad. I'm absolutely in love with that name and I have so many wonderful ideas that could go along with it that I'm super excited for it to be coming along! I just changed the name from Lunar Toys and Goods to The Lillypad, next I'm gonna remove the inventory, close the shop, redesign and start fresh. Definitely going to be looking at this store in new light because all types of items are going to pop up until I find the craft that I love.

Doctor's Visit

Me being the extremely care-less and also for some reason target of best friend air assaults had broken my tail bone and put myself in agonizing pain. Now it wasn't all my fault, in fact most of it was my boyfriend's older brother who just turned 20 and is about 200 something pounds decided falling from a height of about 6 inches onto my frail body would be a great idea so he broke the tail bone. I've had it for about a week and luckily the worse of my pain is gone and I can move freely unlike before but I finally got to go to the doctors and got it checked out which they confirmed yes I did break it and now I have to cushion everything I sit on -_- which I won't lie is annoying because anything that's under me that doesn't belong there agitates me to no end, but, I let this get me off track. I haven't been able to sit and write the last two(?) reviews I have to do meaning they will be up soon and I definitely keep meaning to do them but sitting has been uncomfy and I've been trying to make chocolates. Point is, the reviews will be up either this week or next, sorry for the wait!

Kiser Krafts

Kiser Krafts is a cute store that has toys and winter wear and just a palace for kids to come. Their logo/banner is cute and to die for. I love their products and I love the store imagery. Since I don't have a lot of time I'm going to be only picking 2 products today.

Roxanne Lion is my favorite from her pet Lions and the idea of the lions being "These lions offer sensory, imaginative, and pretend play for children of all ages." and I don't know about everyone else but I think that makes Kiser Krafts's Lions worthy of checking out if you have younger kids.

Pink Marvelous Mouse is a cute pink mouse that is meant to stimulate the imaginative sensory of children's minds and I love them. They're a cute simple toy that people can trust their kids with and have no chance of getting hurt.

Melli's Trinkets and Melli's Yarnworks

This review is going to be a bit different since there's two stores with one owner and I'm going to cover those stores in this blog. I'll be separating it into separate posts using the headers.

Melli's Trinkets

The store itself is so beautiful with it's mostly black, blue, and green color scheme. The are where the banner goes is organized, readable and super easy to see what is being sold inside this store. The photographs are easy to see, show the colors of the items beautifully, and they don't leave anything out.

These beautiful Spiky Ball Earrings are simple, affordable, yet they catch your eye with the gorgeous gleam and colors. I love the way the Swavorski Crystals look with the silver wire and I imagine when the light hits them they shine like almost diamonds.

The Crystal Heart Necklace is dainty, small, affordable, and sparkly. The perfect gift for any girly girl or someone who just loves the glamour. One thing I don't like about it though is the dark blue Swavorski Crystal that's beside the heart because when I look at the picture I noticed the blue crystal first then the heart. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, but I'm also not saying it's a good thing.

Melli's Yarnworks

I'm not a fan of knitted items but I love these, and out of all your works the arm warmers have to be my favorite collection. I've tried to knit and I gotta say it's not easy so many props to you for being able to make these cute and warm looking items. Compared to the other shop you own it's not as flashy but for me I like that in a shop, the simplicity of it is nice and it compliments the items in it. The banner is absolutely terrific and ties the whole shop together nicely.

Blacklight Wrist Warmers were my favorite item in the collection because Blacklights have always been my love and the way they light up certains colors is the best look, I'm so obsessed I even have blacklight nail polish lol.

I really like this Colorful Toddler Hat, of course I don't have a baby but I know a lot of toddlers that this would be absolutely to die for on and if I had a kid this would be something I would get for my child. The colors work well and the style of the hat looks like it'd be a great fit.

Little House of Crafting

First off, let me say, picking my favorite items from Little House of Crafting was just about near impossible and the reason I say that is because they had so many items I liked I had to pick so little items that I don't think I can do this store justice by just posting a few photos so at the end of this post I'm going to include several more photos of products I loved! This store has so many varying items in it that it's impossible not to find something you like and can afford in it! They also do commissions for anything you don't see in the store already. The layout of the store is very simple, it's clean and easy to navigate. The products are broken up into categories based on the theme of the items inside it and that makes it easier to find something that peaks your interest. The banner is simple with images of the work neatly put together with the shop name going across. The overall simplicity of the shop is appealing to me while it may not be appealing to others.

Like I said previously I visited her shop and picked out a few items that I liked from her mass collection.

First up is the Keep Calm and Catch 'Em All Button, I absolutely adore Pokémon so this button is something that quite frankly, I'm considering buying within the next couple weeks. The only thing that I wish she would've done differently was get a Pokémon themed font that's royalty free and made them with it because it would've matched much better and maybe had the button be Blue and Yellow instead. She has many Pokémon items that may end up emptying my wallet (;

Second up is the Keep Calm and Play Videogames Button, besides crafting I have a mega passion for video games and usually spend probably about 12-24hrs playing video games either on the PC or Xbox because who doesn't love a little gory zombie killing or a fast paced adventure game? This button is yet again something I plan on buying from her soon, not sure when but eventually. I don't have anything to say about how I would improve this because personally they're fine the way they are.

My third and final pick is the Keep Calm and Save Gotham Button, I don't know how many people are fans of Batman but I absolutely love him, really I love the joker more but hey it's all the same. This button is magnificent and the colors go really well because the yellow and black are his colors! I wouldn't change anything about this button and this will be in my collection soon :)

Bracelet Frenzy

The store for all friendship bracelet lovers to take a peek at! Bracelet Frenzy is an attractive store with it's soft pink, I don't know what the pattern is, teardrop background. It matches perfectly with the rest of the store although the photos are what immediately gets your attention (as it should) the background is a nice compliment without being completely overpowering. Her photo's are marvelous and I believe they're very well done besides the fact that they're a little dark in some places and the bracelets don't really stand out or pop in them. Besides the photo's the prices are reasonable and almost anyone can afford a bracelet from her.

I've visited her store and picked out my three most favorite items in it, and I'm going to tell you why I love them.

The first item is her Blue Paracord Bracelet, it measures in at 10 inches long! Much bigger then my tiny 6-7 inch wrists. I love it because of the sturdiness that I know paracord has since when it comes to me I'm a bit rough with my bracelets and once I have one on my wrist I never remove it (until it breaks)!

The second item that I picked was her Beaded Braid Friendship Bracelet, although I'm not the type of person to wear friendship bracelets I love them nonetheless. Friendship bracelets are meticulous to create on their own so I couldn't imagine how it is to braid one while beading it! The bronze colored beads mixed with the yellow string doesn't offer much of a contrast which if I were to wear one would be a plus for me. I like the thickness and that it measures at approx. 6 and 1/2 inches which is just big enough to fit my wrist, and be a comfortable fit.

The third and final item that I picked was her Gryffindor Inspired Hearts Friendship Bracelet, need I say more why I like it? The Harry Potter inspired bracelet would be on my wrist in a heartbeat if I had an extra few bucks to buy one, because lets face it, Gryffindor was the best house. Now of course, it being only 4.5 inches would make it impossible to fit some of the people who would wear them which is why I would suggest maybe having them in different sizes? It could be beneficial. The hearts that are made into the pattern are cute editions to it and I think many should own these.

That's all I have to say about this lovely shop, you can check it out on Storenvy, Twitter, FacebookTumblr, and Pinterest!

eBooks Now Available + Items For Sale

I've been contemplating whether or not to put eBooks of my work out for everyone to read and enjoy but I finally decided that I would. Using a site known as Lulu.com, which is a free eBook maker and a publisher, I put together a small eBook of some of my shorter stories ranging from romance to horror and PG-R. I am just putting this one out and hopefully after I get through chapter 1 of the novel I'm trying to write I can put out a sort of teaser for it.

I was also thinking of doing a yard sale, but more of a online yard sale if that makes any sense. I haven't figured out any of the details yet but I will and sure enough I'd probably go and post right on here like I always do. I'll be updating Radioactive Accessories soon with a bunch of new earrings and bracelets and offer "gift wrapping" once I figure out what that would include. I've also been printing out some new messages to staple onto the baggies of the things I sell from my shop but considering I don't market a whole lot there's not many people to sell to.

I should probably go ahead and end this blog entry because I'll start rambling and no one wants that, anyways, bye guys!
